Elena Begunova joined the firm in 2023 as a corporate counsel. Her practice focuses on providing legal advice on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), leveraged finance, strategic corporate transactions, corporate governance, and general corporate matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Begunova served as a corporate attorney in the capital markets groups of several leading global law firms. Her extensive experience encompasses advising corporate clients on high-stakes securities offerings, corporate governance, and complex financial transactions.
Before embarking on her legal career, Ms. Begunova worked as an IT consultant, delivering technology solutions across multiple sectors, including the automotive, financial, retail, and real estate holding industries.
She earned her law degree from Harvard Law School and is admitted to the state bars of New York, Hawaii, and California.
